Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and over 25 years of expertise for foot and ankle treatment, Dr. Gelia is dedicated to keeping his patients active and on their feet. Graduating #7 in his class from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, which is now part of Kent State University in Ohio, Dr. Gelia completed his residency training in St. Louis, Missouri emphasizing reconstructive foot surgery and general medicine until his return to WNY in 1985 where he began his private practice treating children and adults.

Dr. Gelia is a participating provider within the Kaleida Health System, working primarily at DeGraff Memorial Hospital in North Tonawanda, NY and at the Buffalo Veteran’s Administrative Medical Center caring for both active duty service members and our nation’s Veterans.
